Board Certified Primary Care
Christopher Sung, D.O.
Dr. Sung is a family medicine physician with special interests in preventive care, mental health, weight management, musculoskeletal conditions, and diabetic care. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and completed his medical training at Kansas City University. His background in psychology helps him build strong, empathetic connections with patients and enhances his understanding of mental and emotional health.
During residency, Dr. Sung trained under mentors who helped shape his patient-centered approach to medicine. He also developed resilience and adaptability while practicing through the peak COVID years. He incorporates evidence-based care and offers osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) for appropriate musculoskeletal cases. Inspired by his childhood physician, Dr. Sung chose family medicine to care for patients of all ages. Originally from the Midwest, he enjoys traveling, cooking, fitness, concerts, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a proud dog dad to his miniature schnauzer, Peppa. Now living in Southern California, he is excited to join NFM team and is now accepting new patients.
